Born in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Studied Architecture at the Montevideo University.
1957 Studies art, graphical and publicity design with the artist Boris Gurevitsch.
1960 Moves to Italy and resides in Rome.
1961 Studies liturgical art and applies it to several projects, starts to prepare and create works in acrylic over canvas.
1962 Travels through Europe and starts direct contact with the art of different cultural centers.
1965-1966 Course and practice of "Principles and Fundamentals of the Plastic Vision", important discipline for the creative realization of every plastic work, instructed by the Prof. Hector Cartier, professor of Vision for the University of Buenos Aires.
1967 Design and elaboration of artisan jewelry in silver and alpaca. |
1968 Individual paint exposition at the Centro di Azione Latina in Rome. Sponsored by the Embassy of Uruguay in Rome.
Arrives to Maracaibo and resides in the city.
Design and supervision of the liturgic elements for the remodelation of the San Jose Church, at 5 de Julio Ave. in Maracaibo.
1969 Participates in the XII Salon D’Empaire of Paintings and Sculptures in Maracaibo and continues painting different works.
1972 Works as creative director for several Advertisement Agencies in Maracaibo and Caracas. Designs several posters for the Organizacion Intercambio in Maracaibo and participates in painting expositions of the same organization.
Designs logos for different companies and also the well-known Azupane logo.
1979 Packing designs for advertisement customers.
Starts to instruct –at his own home- Art classes for kids and adults, applying Prof. Betty Edwards theory and exercises, for the development of the right side of the brain, new system for the development of the creativity.
1988 Paint exposition – acrylics and watercolours at the Third Age University at Maracaibo.
1990 - 1991 Coordinates the opening of the Sala Multiple 2000 with the exposition “8x8” at “Casas Rincón-González Rubio y Asociados” lawyer’s office building 2000 in Maracaibo. During these years he creates a series of works that would be displayed the following year at different spaces.
Participation at the 1st Lagoven Art Show of Visual Arts in Maracaibo.
Individual exposition of acrylic works, at the Sala Puchi Fonseca of the Cultural Secretariat of the Zulia State in Maracaibo.
1992 – 1994 Works in a new series of works with the plans of exhibiting them soon.
2000 Works exhibited until this year at the Banco Occidental in Maracaibo, Pinturas Internacional, private Collections in Maracaibo, Caracas, Valencia (Venezuela), Italy and United States.
2002 - 2006 Creates a large number of works over canvas, regular and medium sized formats, crayon drawings, in large quantities planned to be exhibited soon.
